How the approval flow works

Posts go through a state machine: Draft → Awaiting Approval → Approved → Scheduled → Published.

Editors create posts in Draft state and submit them for approval. Managers, Admins, and Owners can approve or reject them.

Owners, Admins, and Managers can also approve posts directly (Draft → Approved) without a separate submission step.

When a post is submitted for approval, assigned reviewers receive an email notification. Approvers can approve or reject from the post detail page, leaving a note if needed.

Rejected posts return to Draft state with the rejection note visible in the comment thread. The editor can revise and resubmit.
