How the approval workflow works

Publano's approval workflow ensures posts are reviewed before they go live. The flow depends on the team member's role.

Post states

• Draft — created but not submitted.
• Awaiting Approval — submitted and waiting for a reviewer.
• Approved — approved and ready to schedule or publish.
• Scheduled — approved and queued to publish at a set time.
• Published — successfully published to the platform.

Submit for approval

Members click Submit for approval on the post detail page. The post moves to Awaiting Approval.

Approve directly

Owners, Admins, and Managers can click Approve directly to move a post straight to Approved, bypassing the submission step.

Leave feedback

Reviewers can leave comments and approval notes on the post detail page before approving or rejecting.
