If a post fails to publish, the post detail page will show the error message returned by the platform. Here are the most common causes:
The connected account's access token has expired or the user revoked permissions. Reconnect the account by going to the client detail page and clicking Reconnect next to the platform.
The connected account no longer has the required permissions on the platform (e.g. removed as a Page admin). Re-authorize with an account that has the correct permissions.
The platform rejected the caption or media due to content policy violations, unsupported media dimensions, or file format issues. Review the error message and adjust the content.
The media file could not be uploaded to the platform. Check that the file meets the platform's size, format, and aspect ratio requirements.
After fixing the underlying issue, create a new post or reschedule the failed one. Publano does not automatically retry failed posts to avoid unintended duplicate publishing.
